Who we are

We are the Tesla Owners Club of New Mexico. The Tesla Owners Club of New Mexico was incorporated in NM on August 16, 2022 as a 501(c)7 social organization with a board of directors, officials, bylaws, and membership dues. Our website address is: www.tocnm.org

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Images and videos of you or including your image or your guests’ images:

We may show content, galleries or videos containing images of you and/or your guests on our webpages or in our galleries or elsewhere on the website. By joining our club you have given us permission to use your images and the images of your guest attending our events or other club activities. It is your responsibility to inform your guests that by attending our events or activities, we may capture their image in photos or videos and show those images on our website. Only Active members of our club will be able to see our galleries and videos.
If you see an image you do not want to share, notify an officer of the club and we will remove that image or video.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

One purpose of the tocnm club is to share information among members. We collect all personal information in the registration form. Only Officers of the club and website developers can view all of the information we collect. We do not share (send to other persons or websites) your data.
We may DISPLAY selected information from your registration (information in your profile) with other members of the TOCNM club -for example on the tocnm.org website list of members. This may include your name, email, phone, address, Tesla Model and any other information in your profile (Except when you opt out of selected data). Officers and website administrators can view all information regarding your membership in the tocnm.org website.

Phone Number Display – Opt Out: Your phone number is required for registration and site administration. If you do not want other members to view your phone number, you must uncheck the option to share your phone number during registration or in your profiler.

Email Display – Opt Out: Your email is required for registration and site administration. If you do not want other members to view your email, you must uncheck the option to share your email during registration or in your profile.

We may show your image in our galleries or videos on our website. The images are only shown in pages not viewable by the public. If you see an image you do not want to share, notify an officer of the club and we will remove that image or video.

If you do not agree to share other data in your profile information with other members of the Tesla Owners Club of New Mexico, we suggest you do not create a membership in the club.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can edit that information. Other members can also view your profile information. For instance, Long Range Members will see your phone number and email address.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you cannot at this time request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can however request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
